No other measuring device gives you the opportunity to easily, precisely and directly measure your tool to the turning center in your lathe.

It is impossible to precisely measure sharp turning tools on a ball. That's why the 3D button DREHplus has a patented conical probe body. With this you can feel directly for the center of the spindle in both the X-axis and the Y-axis. This eliminates the need for further calculations since X=0 and Y=0.

Innovative probing technology

The conical probe body allows you to measure any cutting insert with various radii and/or angles at any point on the probe body. You press until both pointers show “0”. In this position, the outer line of the conical probe body lies exactly on the axis of symmetry.
